Walk up Cannock Chase

Yesterday morning I was having a walk around the garden when I spotted the Globe Thistle up the garden was covered with Bees and Wasps. So I grabbed the camera and here is the best shots that I managed to get.

I love the last one as I think the red of the plants in the background works really well against the yellow of the bee. Later on I had a walk up Cannock Chase. When we got there, we were very lucky and a deer was wondering about right near the car so I managed to get a few nice shots. There was also a couple of squirrels running about. 

Stafford Floods - Thursday 12th July 2012

I was having a walk up Doxey Marshes in Stafford on Wednesday regretting having not brought my camera with me as the marshes was flooded. So I returned on the Thursday with my camera and had a walk up the marshes and around the town.

Flash Floods

This morning there was quite a heavy Thunderstorm which created flash flooding over the county. Annoyingly I didn't had to dash after it happened to do the weakly shop so didn't get much chance of snapping any pics on the camera but I did manage to get one shot that I really liked on my mobile phone.

These next lot of pictures were took a few hours later when I went a walk.

I was really happy with the shots that I got in the woodland as I loved the lighting and mood of them.
